Ah\u00ed me sub\u00ed al techo de una lancha que ser\u00eda la embarcaci\u00f3n que me llevar\u00eda a Battambang. El barco iba atravesando aldeas y poblados flotantes, lo hac\u00edan cargados de sacos de alimentos y mercanc\u00eda que los lugare\u00f1os se acercaban a recoger en sus peque\u00f1os botes, con su sombrilla o paraguas en la mano. Era un retrato que aparec\u00eda ante mis ojos como una explosi\u00f3n vital. A mitad del recorrido, cuando m\u00e1s fuerte pegaba el sol en el techo y timbraba el motor en mis o\u00eddos, nos detuvimos en una aldea para comer.
