Mercado Flotante Cai Rang."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El r\u00edo Mekong nace en la cordillera del Himalaya , en la meseta del T\u00edbet a una altura de 5200 metros , con una longitud estimada de unos 4800 Km. Atraviesa 6 pa\u00edses China , Birmania , Laos , Tailandia , Camboya y Vietnam. El R\u00edo Mekong recibe el nombre en Vietnam de Cuu Long que significa \u201c el r\u00edo de los nueve dragones \u201c,&nbsp;este nombre se debe a que el r\u00edo se divide en nueve brazos antes de desembocar en el mar. A la orilla de uno de los embarcaderos negoci\u00e9 con un barquero para que me diera una vuelta por el r\u00edo. Ten\u00eda una peque\u00f1a y fr\u00e1gil barquita de madera con la que remaba pausadamente. Los pobladores utilizaban sus barcos grandes para comerciar con frutas, vegetales, arroz y dem\u00e1s art\u00edculos que vend\u00edan a otros barcos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os. Las casas eran viejas barcazas de junco sobre el r\u00edo, en ellas cocinaban, hac\u00edan sus quehaceres diarios y animaban con sus voces los d\u00edas grises y lluviosos como quien atrapa un pez que vale dos onzas de oro y lo cuelga del sedal junto a la ropa. Vend\u00edan al diablo por santo y al santo por diablo; y entre todo ese ajetreo, los motores derramaban gasolina, que se mezclaba con el agua y las verduras que flotaban. sin embargo, sus habitantes hac\u00edan maravillas con el espacio que ten\u00edan, la planta baja generalmente la utilizaban como restaurante o tienda.
